THE GENESIS OF OUR LOGO

CrossCheck's company logo (and Service Mark) contains several significant elements:

  • The secondary colors, gold and silver, represent the value we offer our customers.

  • The greek letter Sigma represents the quality of our Services--6 Sigma or better.

COMPANY LEADERSHIP

Travis Dyer, Founder, Owner & President of CrossCheck Flight Test Services, LLC, has worked in aviation for over 20 years. A licensed Private Pilot, he earned a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University in 2002 while working at Able Aerospace designing proprietary major repairs for airplane and helicopter components.

In Mojave, California Travis performed aircraft structural design and analysis for BAE Systems--Flight Systems and served as Lead Flight Test Engineer for the CATB testbed aircraft, a Boeing 737 customized for the F-35 fighter program. He is a graduate of the flight test engineering course at the National Test Pilot School.

At Raytheon Missile Systems, Travis analyzed acoustic and vibratory loads on internally-carried AIM-9X and AIM-120 missiles for the F-22 and F-35 fighters during flight testing and authored updated design specifications for these exceptionally dynamic air-loads.

Travis later worked for Bell Helicopter-Textron as a flight test engineer, initially on the Bell-Agusta BA-609 civilian tiltrotor flight test program. Additional flight-testing projects while at Bell included the US Army's ARH-70 Arapaho program, internal Bell R & D projects, and numerous other aircraft modification & testing efforts. Travis also served as a flight test engineer for the Bell 429 FAA type certification testing program.

In 2017, Travis launched CrossCheck Flight Test Services, LLC in his hometown of Castroville, Texas. CrossCheck's business purpose is to provide flight testing services to General Aviation clients who are often overlooked by the larger commercial and military testing organizations. CrossCheck serves our customers by trailering all required testing equipment to the client's home airfield and performing all required testing, analysis and documentation there.
